Applegate Dines on Dessert Current and Retired Atlanta Team Members Celebrate
The Atlanta Plant (Tucker, Ga.) and the Atlanta (Ga.) sales office celebrated the 125th Anniversary of Hormel Foods the best way we know how – with food! You go Atlanta team!
On Friday, May 27, the Atlanta Plant catered in a feast for all employees. Naturally, Hormel Foods products were featured on the menu. Over 350 people attended the event through three different sessions. Of those in attendence, 35 were retirees – what a great surprise!
The festive décor set a celebratory mood as all chowed down and chatted happily. Many employees agreed that the best part of the event was being able to interact with the retirees in attendance. Their perspectives were insightful, and their pride for the company was palpable, only adding to the fantastic event.
Capping off the meal was a slide presentation showcasing current employees’ contributions to the Atlanta facilities and culture. We once again find ourselves filled with pride; thank you Atlanta team!
