Pittsburgh Sales Team Gets Us on the Board The Des Moines Team and the Celebration That Keeps On Giving
The Des Moines team is crushing it! They’ve had three events to date and plan to continue the party. We applaud you.
On May 2, employees at the Des Moines (Iowa) sales office came to work to find festive decorations throughout the office. 125-shaped balloons in red, white and green accompanied a special anniversary poster, commemorating the employees who work at the office during this memorable year. Adding to the fun, there were surprise gift bags containing a few 125th Anniversary merchandise items for each of the ten team members. How thoughtful!
The team continued the celebration a few weeks later with an event that took the anniversary slogan, Building On Our Legacy, to heart – they volunteered at a Habitat for Humanity building site! Each employee donned their anniversary T-shirts and got down to work, completing the entire first row of studs on the home. Way to make us proud Des Moines team!
As if they couldn’t get any more awesome, the team then planned their largest event yet, inviting friends, families, retirees and even favorite building workers to a “Table 125” meal on May 26. The 65-plus attendees enjoyed sunshine, creative Hormel Foods recipes, anniversary prizes, lawn games and more. The consensus was obviously that we should do this more often!
A gigantic shout out to the Des Moines sales team all of their hard work in helping to continue the Hormel Foods legacy.
