Austin Braves the Rain to Run Family Day at Our Flagship
The team at our Flagship Plant in Austin, Minn., decided to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of Hormel Foods by giving employees a chance to show off their workplace to their families and friends.
Inspired by the pride employees take in their work, the team decided to give them an opportunity to show off their workplace to those closest to them. Employees volunteered to man various areas of the plant and explain the importance of those processes in getting food to the grocery store.
Taking advantage of the summer weather in Minnesota, the team also provided a picnic and fun games to play outside.
Our hats off to the plant’s 125th anniversary committee for putting on such a fun and informative event!
