Florida Teams Feed the Hungry in Fort Lauderdale

There our employees go again, making us proud! The Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) and Miami (Fla.) sales offices chose to help celebrate our 125^th Anniversary by volunteering at the LifeNet 4 Families community kitchen in Fort Lauderdale.

Ten employees from the sales offices met at the community kitchen on April 29 for a morning of preparing and serving hot meals to individuals in need. During their four and a half hour shift, they estimate that they served over 200 meals. All involved agreed that their favorite part of the experience was seeing the smiles and gratitude of those served.

The team wore 125^th Anniversary T-shirts during their volunteering, displaying the slogan “Building On Our Legacy.” Hormel Foods is 125 years strong and it is acts like these that continue the proud legacy. A huge thank you to the Fort Lauderdale and Miami sales offices for their time and admirable service!
