Fremont Hosts Carnival in Celebration

The Fremont (Neb.) Plant celebrated the quasquicentennial anniversary of Hormel Foods with a carnival-themed jubilee on Saturday, August 13.

Over 3,000 guests reveled in the carnival fun, including face painting, bounce houses, popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones and pony rides. The day was filled with laughter, smiles and full bellies!

For many, the highlight of the celebration was the plant tour. While on the tour, employees and their families enjoyed product displays, informative presentations and valuable conversations with current and retired employees. Employees enjoyed showing their families where they work and how important their roles are to the entire operation. The amount of pride exhibited by the production professionals during the tour was truly priceless.
