Spreading SKIPPY®. Fighting Hunger.

Our Foodservice marketing and sales teams set a lofty goal of making 9,000 PB&J sandwiches in one hour to help feed the hungry—which they surpassed by more than 1,000 sandwiches!

A team of 200 employees participated in a Which Wich® Superior Sandwiches Project PB&J® Spreading Party during their national sales meeting. The team made 10,010 SKIPPY® PB&J sandwiches in under an hour, which were then distributed to Loaves and Fishes, Catholic Charities and People Serving People in Minneapolis, Minn., to help feed those in need.

“Giving back to communities is an important value of Hormel Foods,” said Mark J. Ourada, vice president of foodservice sales. “That is why we were pleased to team up with a valued partner, Which Wich, to hold a Project PB&J® Spreading Party during our event.”

“This event was amazing and it was in alignment with what we stand for at Hormel Foods — our people, our partnerships and our communities,” said Ana Gonzalez, foodservice account executive. “The less time we had the faster we went. We found a way to work together as a team to beat our goal and made over 10,000 sandwiches!”
