United Kingdom Team Celebrates in Style

Celebrations in honor of Hormel Foods turning 125 years old are happening all over the world, even across the pond!

On Wednesday, June 29, the United Kingdom (U.K.) team, in partnership with Tulip Ltd. (Great Britain), held their 125^th Anniversary celebration at the company office in Warwick, England.

During an extended lunch hour, the team participated in a variety of activities, capped off with a delicious lunch of Hormel Foods products. A photo booth was available for employees to let loose and celebrate in stylish and wacky outfits. Who do you think wore it best?

Throughout the event, the team also had the opportunity to have their likenesses drawn by a caricaturist. We think they look pretty good, but let’s hope that compliment doesn’t give them a big head!

Employees enjoyed their lunch from the famous SPAM^® Can Tour airstream vehicle as it served gourmet SPAM^® burgers and Stagg^® chili with chips. Then, the meal was topped off with yummy SKIPPY^® cookies, but that wasn’t the stop of the sweet treats, as cake was also served halfway through the event.

Throughout the event games and quizzes were available for employees to play to have the chance to win a variety of prizes. Some games had a small charge to raise money for various charities. We are so proud that the U.K. team was able to incorporate giving back into their day of fun.
