Skippy Foods Picnics in the Park San Francisco Furiously Feeds Community
The San Francisco sales team helped celebrate our 125th Anniversary by volunteering with Meals on Wheels. Way to make us proud!
On Tuesday, July 19, the San Francisco (Calif.) sales office team volunteered with Meals on Wheels, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping senior citizens maintain their independence. Half of the team spent their time packaging a total of 1,100 meals, while the other half helped paint signs for the Meals on Wheels Bike Race, an annual fundraising event for the organization. The team was grateful to celebrate through giving back to their community in a way that relates to and reflects the values of Hormel Foods.
Before the morning was over, the team took in the sights of the San Francisco Bay while enjoying a delicious lunch and a 125th Anniversary cake!
Here’s to a successful celebration for the San Francisco team! Let them eat cake – they deserve it!
